Social Workers and how they reach young people during Social Media
1. Exampel Burak Caniperk

Burak Caniperk is a dedicated German streetworker who focuses on supporting young adults facing challenges in their lives. He actively reaches out to those on the streets who seem to be struggling, offering help and guidance tailored to their needs.
To connect with young people through social media, Burak creates content that resonates with their everyday experiences. He aims to be authentic, sharing insights from his daily work to give them a clear understanding of his role and the importance of the support he provides. By presenting his work in an honest and relatable way, Burak builds trust and opens the door to meaningful connections.
Burak emphasizes openness and understanding in his approach. Through his content, he offers support and opportunities for engagement but respects the fact that not everyone may be ready to accept help right away. Drawing from his own similar experiences, he reassures young people that they are not alone in facing their struggles. By being genuine and relatable, Burak uses social media as a bridge to reach and empower young adults, showing them that change and support are always within reach.
2. Example: Die Sozialarbeiterin

She’s all about bridging the gap between her work and the youth, making it relatable and meaningful. How? By breaking down the importance of children and youth welfare into simple, clear messages that hit home. She’s got a knack for catchy phrases and eye-catching visuals, turning complex topics into something young people actually want to engage with.
In her videos, she keeps it real—delivering content in a style that’s authentic, interesting, and easy to connect with. Plus, she’s tuned into the latest social media trends, using them to amplify her message and reach her audience where they’re at.
But it’s not all light and fluffy—she knows how to handle heavy topics with care and sensitivity, making sure they’re approached thoughtfully. That’s what makes her stand out: her ability to connect, adapt, and truly resonate with young people.
She stays informed about the latest news and actively shares it with her subscribers, fostering a stronger connection with her target audience.
My way to decrease Bullying

To address the issue of bullying, I would focus on creating content on Instagram, a platform widely used by young people. My goal would be to present this content authentically and relatably, using real-life examples to illustrate the causes and effects of bullying. For instance, I would highlight how bullying can escalate into serious issues like addiction, helping young people recognize the long-term consequences.
In addition to leveraging Instagram for educational purposes, I would collaborate with companies and schools to address the problem more effectively. Partnering with organizations would amplify the importance of this work and help create broader, lasting change. This is the approach I would take to genuinely work toward decreasing bullying.
Love the idea of creating supportive online communities for youth. Social workers can make a real impact in these spaces.
